Working Breakfast 

Getting to work at 7am Breakfast before leaving home is just not an option.

  • I just can’t face food that early
  • If I did eat that early I would be chewing on my fingers by 11am!

So today I am trying something new (to me anway)

Hot Oats with Chia Seeds and Maca Powder 

After a 5 mile run nothing is more satisfying for me than a bowl of Hot Oats, remember the old Ready Brek advert they warm you from the inside and make you glow all day?

 Containing Vitamin D, calcium and being high in fibre it’s perfect to keep things moving nicely in more ways than one.

By adding Chia Seeds I have given it a boost of Omega 3 and 6 and calcium so brain function should be good today!!

And the Maca Powder a product I had never heard of but found in the health food Isle.  I got it as it is a great addition to your diet to naturally reduce tiredness and fatigue and increase mental stamina. (I could definitely do with a bit of that!!)

It is part of the radish family and was originally grown in the mountains of Peru it as long been referred to as the Peruvian Ginseng.

On top of the energy increase it is said to improve sexual function, assist with menstrual symptoms, improve skin and balance moods. So in all I should be hop, skipping and jumping my way through today.
